Completed Tinkerbell painting
The Tinkerbell painting is all done!
She's in a kind of night sky full of stars and flowers. It's a very dreamy idealistic painting.
I completed this Tinkerbell painting in like two weeks time. It was done in canvas oil paint. It is rather large painting.
I added the paper flowers and the glittery greenish blue butterfly as a nice 3d touch. I bought these at art supply store.

Sketching Fairies

New theme: Fairies!
I may be too old for this but I enjoy the Disney Characters. My Favorites are the little mini flying magical creatures with translucent wings and Pixie dust.
They are fun!
Here I did sketches on canvas of Iridessa and TinkerBell the tinker fairy and the light Fairy. I also did Silver Mist too. She's the water fairy.
I only learned to draw them from the Learn to Draw Disney TinkerBell book.

Summer fun Painting
This summer, I'm trying my hand at painting again. Just till now I realized what a nice way to share my work is to blog about. I hope you enjoy what you see. I am excited about my work!
These first two were done in acrylic paint. I am new to this medium. But it is growing on me because it dries so fast it takes getting used to. My old medium is oil paint. I like oil paint cause you can work with it so well. It was the first paint medium I learned through Bob Ross (...anyone remember him from TV?). These paintings were inspired from two places. The first is was a card cover and the second is from a hair magazine cover. (a picture of Rihanna.) I changed it a bit as usual.
